Commented on Fetal bovine serum (FBS): Past – present – future
FBS poses ethical concerns because of how and from where it is derived. This article discusses alternatives such as serum-free media and organ-on-chip technology. I believe the organ on a chip technology can be a really great alternative!

Commented on Severe Combined ImmunoDeficient (SCID) mice in biomedical research
SCID mice, specifically CB17 SCID, lack T and B cells due to a fault in DNA repair thus making it easier for them to accept xenogenic cells.

Commented on Male C57BL6/N and C57BL6/J Mice Respond Differently to Constant Light and Running-Wheel Access
The differences are probably due to the difference in genetic mutations in each mouse and what those mutations affect. For example, the mutation present in C57Bl6/J mice affects its metabolism while the C57bl6/N mice do not have this issue. There could be a number of other reasons as well such as breeding method, vendor, any environmental impact, etc.
