According to this research paper, "follow-up testing with computed tomography and carcinoembryonic antigen more frequently compared with less frequently did not result in a significant rate reduction in 5-year overall mortality"...while the research results are clear, I wonder if a long term study will reveal different outcome and if testing more frequently makes the patients feel more at ease and less worried about recurrence...
