Aims and Scope
Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry provides an international forum for the publication of full original research papers and critical reviews on molecular interactions in key biological targets such as receptors, channels, enzymes, nucleotides, lipids and saccharides.

The aim of the journal is to promote a better understanding at the molecular level of life processes, and living organisms, as well as the interaction of these with chemical agents. A special feature will be that colour illustrations will be reproduced at no charge to the author, provided that the Editor agrees that colour is essential to the information content of the illustration in question.

Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
4.8 submission, 5.16 first-round revision, 6.8 final revision, 6.20 acceptance. The revised version did not include additional experiments, but all the reviewer's comments were diligently addressed. The revision took longer due to the vacation and the pandemic of our overseas collaborators. BMC is relatively more classic, but in the past two years, medical journals have been rapidly rising, and BMC has not benefitted from this trend. Those working on tuberculosis can refer to our article 10.1016/j.bmc.2022.116896 more frequently.

4.17 submitted; 5.10 minor revisions after initial review; 5.22 revised; 6.22 accepted. There were some minor mistakes during the editing process, which delayed the acceptance time by about a week. Overall, the review process was relatively fast and the editor was very nice. The data requirements are comprehensive, and it is one of the more prestigious journals in the field of medicinal chemistry. We hope that the impact factor (IF) for the year 2022 can increase.
