The revision took longer due to the vacation and the pandemic of our overseas collaborators. BMC is relatively more classic, but in the past two years, medical journals have been rapidly rising, and BMC has not benefitted from this trend. 4.17 submitted; 5.10 minor revisions after initial review; 5.22 revised; 6.22 accepted. There were some minor mistakes during the editing process, which delayed the acceptance time by about a week. Overall, the review process was relatively fast and the editor was very nice. The data requirements are comprehensive, and it is one of the more prestigious journals in the field of medicinal chemistry. We hope that the impact factor (IF) for the year 2022 can increase.
