Aims and Scope
The primary aims of Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering are to provide a means of communicating the advances being made in the areas of biomechanics and biomedical engineering and to stimulate interest in the continually emerging computer based technologies which are being applied in these multidisciplinary subjects. Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering will also provide a focus for the importance of integrating the disciplines of engineering with medical technology and clinical expertise. Such integration will have a major impact on health care in the future.

After submission, the editorial department operates quickly, but the external review process takes a long time and they usually only respond near the deadline. This may be because my topic is more niche, leading to a longer external review process. As long as the direction aligns with the journal, the workload is sufficient, and there is innovation, the chances of acceptance are high.
I went through two rounds of external review, and after receiving positive feedback, I entered the final review process (it felt like that). Then I received a direct acceptance notification, and the publication was made online after some time.
I submitted in February, and the publication was made online in September. During this period, the two rounds of external review took a long time (two months), while the final review took a shorter time (two weeks).

The editor found a very professional reviewer. I have already guessed their identity and often read their articles, so their comments on the review were very pertinent. I have reviewed many manuscripts, but the reviewers selected by this journal make me feel that this journal is exceptional, despite its low ranking in the Chinese Academy of Sciences and JCR zones. The editor's handling speed is very fast, and I hope the journal continues to improve.
