Aims and Scope
Operations research and computers meet in a large number of scientific fields, many of which are of vital current concern to our troubled society. These include, among others, ecology, transportation, safety, reliability, urban planning, economics, inventory control, investment strategy and logistics (including reverse logistics). The study is about solving a graph problem using integer programming. The main innovation is the ILP model, which has better experimental results compared to the previous best algorithm. The reviewers' comments were very professional, with the first round of feedback spanning 10 pages. I was touched that someone would read my article so carefully. During the process of supplementing experiments and revising the paper, there were times when I felt the reviewers were nitpicking, but I followed all their suggestions. Yes, the reviewers are like fathers. The second submission received positive feedback overall, with some minor unrelated suggestions. After quickly making the changes, it was submitted and soon accepted. In 2022, COR was still a tier 3 journal, but in 2023, it was upgraded to tier 2. I hope the quality of COR continues to improve!
