Hello, OP. The Engineering Computations journal's official website offers two publishing options: Green open access/self-archiving policy and Gold open access policy. Based on the website's information, it seems that the first option is free of charge, while the second option requires payment. I'm unsure if I misunderstood this information. Could you please clarify if this publishing option is chosen before submitting an article or after it has been accepted for publication? How did you make your choice, OP? Additionally, is this journal considered an open access publication? The information I found suggests that it may not be an open access journal.

There were more than 40 comments, big and small, in the first review, which greatly helped improve the quality of the article. This journal is actually very good, but it is too slow and the impact factor does not increase. I have been urging the editor all along and had to send several emails before receiving acceptance.
