Aims and Scope
This interdisciplinary journal publishes new measurement results, characteristic properties, differentiating patterns, measurement methods and procedures for such purposes as food process innovation, product development, quality control, and safety assurance.

The journal encompasses all topics related to food property measurement and characterization, including all types of measured properties of food and food materials, features and patterns, measurement principles and techniques, development and evaluation of technologies, novel uses and applications, and industrial implementation of systems and procedures.

The overall review speed was quite fast, with two reviewers. One had no comments, while the other mentioned that the introduction lacked focus, some references were outdated, the results discussion was not in-depth enough, and suggested increasing the number of references and providing a deeper analysis of the results. There were also some grammar and formatting issues. The review comments were indeed targeted, and after making the modifications, the overall quality of the paper significantly improved. The editor was also very diligent and responsible. Hopefully, it can be promoted to Zone 2 soon. Best of luck to everyone who submitted their work!
