Overall, there is only one word, fast! The journal responds fast, processes fast, reviews fast, edits fast, and publishes fast. Basically, if there are any problems during the process, they respond and resolve them on the same day. There is only one round of review, and you will receive feedback about two weeks after submission, giving you 10 days to make revisions. After completing the revisions, it takes 3-4 days to be accepted. Since it is an open access journal, after acceptance, you need to pay an article processing charge (APC), which is originally 1800 CHF, but you can negotiate through email. Once the payment is made, the article can be published online immediately. However, the payment process is also fast, usually within two to three days, and you also need to proofread at the same time.

The entire process is very satisfactory, and the reviewers' comments are relatively fair. The current impact factor of the journal is around 2.89, and it is expected to reach 3 next year. I recommend it to friends who are in a hurry, as the experience is very good, but make sure to discuss the cost issue with your supervisor.

May I ask my colleagues: How long is the complete PDF, HTML, and XML versions valid after the early access version? After submitting the proofreading, I found an error and emailed the MDPI website, but I haven't received a reply yet. Actually, this error doesn't have much impact, and I don't want to try to modify it now. However, the complete PDF, HTML, and XML versions have not been published yet, and I'm getting a bit anxious.
