Aims and Scope
Microchimica Acta (MCA) has established itself as a premier forum for research results in modern (bio)analytical sciences based on the use of micro/nano-structured materials. Coverage includes fundamental studies on, practical applications of, and new approaches towards micro-/nanomaterials such as micro- and nanoparticles, imprints, micro/nanodroplets, or micro/nanostructured devices for use in (bio)analytical applications including sensing and preconcentration. Invited reviews provide a critical assessment of research progress in these fields

This journal is not as slow as everyone thinks, and the self-citation rate has been declining for two consecutive years, while the impact factor is still rising.
In the first round of review, there were two reviewers, one rejection and one editor, who raised many meaningful questions. In the second round of review after resubmission, there were still two reviewers, one minor revision and the other still the editor, who ultimately suggested major revisions. The suggestions given by both editors were very rigorous, even pointing out many typos and symbol-related issues. The major revision response was 4000 words, and it was directly accepted. It is important to seriously supplement experiments and provide sincere responses. I hope everyone will cite it more to increase the impact factor.
