Aims and Scope
Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220) provides an advanced forum for the science and technology of sensors and biosensors. It publishes reviews (including comprehensive reviews on the complete sensors products), regular research papers and short notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.

2020 IF: 3.576 JCR: Q1 The most important data, everything else is not very important!
Speed: Extremely fast, most edits are completed on the same day by the editors. Thumbs up to the editors for their speed! I believe that fast speed is definitely an advantage and should not be biased as "good journals have slow speed and bad journals have fast speed." Every journal should pursue fast speed and not waste researchers' time. The fast speed of MDPI journals is achieved through the establishment of a large editorial team due to the journal's income.
Quality: Personally, I believe that the quality of a journal mainly depends on the level of the reviewers and academic editors. If the reviewers' opinions are professional and the academic editors have strict standards, then the quality of the journal can be guaranteed. Other factors such as whether it is open access, the speed of publication, and the high or low page charges should not be the main factors influencing the quality. Rejecting articles that do not meet the journal's requirements in a timely manner is responsible to everyone. Journals that waste researchers' time and act superior are doomed to pay the price of arrogance.
Gain: Don't always assume that others don't understand or can't understand. Often, the problem lies in not clearly explaining the question oneself.
Overall evaluation: Actually, except for some people pursuing top journals and representative works, in other cases, this journal is worth recommending.
