Aims and Scope
Earth’s Future: A transdisciplinary open access journal, Earth’s Future focuses on the state of the Earth and the prediction of the planet’s future. By publishing peer-reviewed articles as well as editorials, essays, reviews, and commentaries, this journal will be the preeminent scholarly resource on the Anthropocene. It will also help assess the risks and opportunities associated with environmental changes and challenges.

Major revisions turned into minor revisions and accepted. This journal is faster than I expected. Although this article has indeed tortured me for a long time. It was initially submitted to NS and sent for review, but was rejected. After being rejected by various sub-journals, it was finally accepted by the geoscience journal of EF AUG, which has high recognition. The second time was "tortured" by the AGU reviewers.
