Aims and Scope
The journal presents readers with the latest research, knowledge, emerging technologies, and advances in food processing and preservation. Encompassing chemical, physical, quality, and engineering properties of food materials, the Journal of Food Processing and Preservation provides a balance between fundamental chemistry and engineering principles and applicable food processing and preservation technologies.

This is the only journal dedicated to publishing both fundamental and applied research relating to food processing and preservation, benefiting the research, commercial, and industrial communities. It publishes research articles directed at the safe preservation and successful consumer acceptance of unique, innovative, non-traditional international or domestic foods. In addition, the journal features important discussions of current economic and regulatory policies and their effects on the safe and quality processing and preservation of a wide array of foods.

Posted on April 19th, sent for review on April 22nd. We urged several times in between but without any results, so we basically gave up and continued with experiments. We'll leave the article to fate. Then on September 26th, we received major revision comments, submitted the major revision on October 13th, and waited for a decision until October 30th. On November 6th, it was accepted.

Overall evaluation: Not demanding, but the speed is quite slow. If you are in a hurry to graduate, please be cautious. If not in a hurry, you can choose this option. The reviewer's comments were still quite serious and fair. For reference.

This journal is relatively slow. I have submitted two articles, and the initial review process usually takes over two months. After revisions, the second review takes one month, and the final proofreading by the professor also requires 1-2 months. It takes more than half a year from submission to publication, so it is necessary to consider it in advance for graduation! Additionally, does the JFPP official website mention that they will start charging next year? - -.
