I really enjoyed reading the articles in "Holocene" before submitting. Compared to other journals in the same field, the quality is extremely high. The first round of review took almost 4 months (minor revisions), as the editor mentioned there were some minor issues in finding reviewers. However, after the revisions were made, it only took 5 days for the paper to be accepted, which is very efficient. The reviewer had a thorough understanding of the article, pointing out many errors that I hadn't noticed, from data to conceptualization. I still recommend submitting to this journal, keep up the good work!
