Aims and Scope
The Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering (JECE) publishes full length original research papers, short communications, review papers, perspectives and letters to the Editor. Papers are welcome which apply chemical engineering principles to understand important environmental processes or that develop/optimize novel remediation processes.
The Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering provides a forum for the publication of original research on the development of alternative sustainable technologies focusing on water and wastewater treatment and reuse; treatment, reuse and disposal of waste; pollution prevention; sustainability and environmental safety; recent developments on green chemistry; alternative methods of remediation of environmental accidents including but not limited to oil spills in water bodies and nuclear accidents.

This magazine is really amazing. The review process was indeed fast, but they actually found 8 reviewers and gave 60 review comments. To be honest, I was completely stunned when I saw these review comments. I had previously submitted to Applied Catalysis B, CEJ, and Green Chemistry, but because I didn't seize the opportunity, the quality and data of the manuscripts were not solid enough, and the results I received were all rejections. Then I spent a month modifying the manuscript according to the reviewers' comments from these three journals, and after the modifications were complete, I submitted to other journals. But here comes the key point, after these three journals, every submission I made was rejected. I discussed it with my advisor, and he said it was really damaging to my reputation. He suggested either completely reorganizing the ideas and rewriting the manuscript, or just throwing it out. So, I decided to randomly select a journal with a decent impact factor to submit to, and I chose this one. Surprisingly, I received review comments in less than a month, and there were 8 reviewers who provided 60 review comments. They gave me four months to make revisions... I don't know how this journal will develop in the future, but when I saw the review comments, I felt completely obedient.

This magazine is really amazing. The review process was indeed very fast, but they actually found eight reviewers and gave 60 review comments. To be honest, when I saw these review comments, I was completely confused. Before this, I submitted my work to Applied Catalysis B, CEJ, and Green Chemistry, but because I didn't grasp the opportunity well, the quality of the manuscript and data were not solid, and I received rejection letters from all of them. Then, based on the opinions of these three reviewers, I spent a month making revisions. After completing the revisions, I submitted to other journals. However, here comes the key point - after these three journals, I got rejected no matter where I submitted. I discussed with my supervisor, and he said that this was detrimental to my reputation. He suggested either completely overturning and reorganizing the ideas for this paper, or just throwing it away. So, I decided to randomly choose a journal and submitted it. I thought the impact factor of this journal was decent, so I submitted to it. Surprisingly, in less than a month, I received review comments from eight reviewers, with a four-month revision period. I... I don't know how this journal will develop in the future, but when I saw the review comments, I just felt completely obedient.
