Verified Reviews

Recently, there have been more and more questionable practices in this journal. I had submitted an article before when it was still in the top tier of Zone 2, and it was highly recognized in the industry as a reputable journal. However, in the past two years, I have noticed that the editors have become increasingly irresponsible. After submitting a manuscript, all three reviewers were recommended by the authors themselves. They contacted the authors for recommendation opinions and quickly accepted the manuscript for publication. Of course, the articles must have a certain level of innovation for the editors to send them for review, but this kind of review process really compromises the quality of the articles. I hope that EF does not willingly decline and can regain its place among the top journals.

22.12.22 submit; After submission, the status will be displayed as under review.
22.12.27 Due to issues with the figure caption, it was returned for modification. After making the necessary changes, it was immediately resubmitted, and the status has remained under review.
23.2.22 After nearly 2 months, the first round of review comments were received, indicating a major revision (with a 30-day revision period) and an invitation for a supplementary cover. It was mentioned that all contributors have the opportunity to submit a supplementary cover, from which a suitable one will be selected as the front cover for free. Those not selected will have to pay for the printing cost of the supplementary cover.

Best wishes~
