Aims and Scope
Pharmacological Research publishes cutting-edge articles in biomedical sciences to cover a broad range of topics that move the pharmacological field forward. We provide a venue through which specialists across disciplines can rapidly exchange information in health sciences that pertains to modern pharmacological topics. The journal publishes articles on molecular, biochemical, translational, and clinical research (including clinical trials); it is proud of its rapid publication of accepted papers that comprises a dedicated, fast acceptance and publication track for high profile articles.

1. The review efficiency of the Pharmacological Research journal is very high. If the editor feels that the article's quality is not high, it will be rejected on the same day. If there is no decision in process on the day of submission or the next day, the article will basically enter the "Review invitations sent" stage, but the submission status will still show "With Editor". Only when the invited reviewers agree to review, the submission status will change to "Under Review".
2. The first review takes about one month. The editor and reviewers are friendly to Chinese authors. The language of the article has not been polished, but neither the editor nor the reviewers mentioned the issue of language in the revision.
3. When submitting the revised article, the system will require the upload of a graphical abstract figure and uncropped images of Western blots. It doesn't have to be the entire membrane.
