I am in Japan, IJP is a journal that our research lab frequently submits to. Overall, it has a relatively high cost-effectiveness. Currently, its difficulty level is slightly lower than ACS's Mol. Pharm., but it has a higher impact factor. However, in recent years, the impact factor has been trending upwards, so the difficulty of submitting papers in the future may increase. I just submitted my first paper here, and the process was very fast. About two weeks after submission, I received the reviewer's comments. I was lucky to have only two reviewers, with one approving it directly and the other suggesting major revisions. However, I feel that the reviewer who suggested revisions did not carefully read my paper, as I was able to decently refute most of the points raised. The handling editor of the first review gave me two months for revisions, but I submitted my response the day after receiving the comments, with minimal changes to the paper. Two weeks later, I received a letter from the editor stating that the paper has been accepted. The whole process took about a month, which is quite fast and worth celebrating.

Magazines have a high reputation in the field of pharmacy, so it is challenging. I submitted a review article with a total of about 11,000 words on Wednesday, and it was rejected the following Monday afternoon. The editorial processing efficiency is excellent. If it was not accepted, it can only be said that my own quality needs improvement. The magazine has relatively flexible formatting requirements. The PDF generated by the system does not have line numbers, so I need to generate line numbers according to the author's guide. Other formatting requirements generally follow the journal's guidelines, and it can still pass the technical check.
