Aims and Scope

The Journal of Earthquake Engineering is a publication of peer-reviewed papers on research and development in analytical, experimental and field studies of earthquakes from an engineering seismology as well as a structural engineering viewpoint. The Journal combines the three most important ingredients for a successful technical publication; the highest possible technical quality, speed of publication and competitive subscription rates.
The journal draws on research and development work from engineering communities worldwide in the fields of earthquake engineering and engineering seismology. Work on experimental, analytical, design, and field studies will be considered for publication. The following is a nonexhaustive list of topics considered to be within the scope of the journal:

Hello, how do you upload images in the paper? Why does it keep spinning at the step of selecting black and white or color, and the image is not converted to PDF? The editor contacted me halfway and said they would help me upload the images. I have been waiting for almost two months, and it has always been in the waiting for editor processing status. This morning, I received a message from the journal editor saying that the article was returned to the author because the images were not successfully converted to PDF. I have been waiting for two months and now they ask me to resubmit, but I can't wait any longer. Can anyone please tell me how to upload the images successfully to convert them into a PDF document? Thank you!

1. This journal is submitted through Taylor's system, and the website provided by letpub is correct. If you want to send an email, you can find it on the journal's official website.
2. After submitting, an automatic email will be sent confirming the successful submission, and then there will be no further emails until the first-round review results. There is no checking or attention to whether there is an "awaiting admin processing" stage in between.
3. After acceptance, this journal's publication online and indexing in Web of Science are very fast. However, if you are in a hurry to publish with volume and issue numbers, I strongly discourage it, as it usually takes about a year and a half to have them.
