The cost-effectiveness of the journal is very poor. It took eight months for two reviewers to provide their review results, which were all mediocre. There were no strong criticisms. The associate editor directly rejected it, leaving me waiting for eight months in vain. The associate editor, Pedro Silva, is Portuguese and his expertise is average. He has less than 700 citations on Google Scholar and his handling of manuscripts is somewhat arrogant. At that time, I thought I would give this journal a try if it could have a high impact. I didn't expect the requirements to be quite high and the process to be extremely slow. I probably won't submit to this journal again in the future.

Submitted in December of the 21st year, then received major revisions in February. The feedback provided by the relevant reviewers was professional and insightful. After completing the revisions within two weeks, I continued with the submission. Then, during the peer review stage in June of the 22nd year, I received further revisions from five additional reviewers. Due to graduating and starting work, I had limited time to make further modifications to the manuscript. It was not until mid-September that the final revisions were completed. Finally, on October 14th, the paper was accepted. The main challenge was the uncertainty of the peer review process, but the editors were prompt in handling the submission and did not contribute to any delays.
