Aims and Scope
Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board is one of the most cited and prolific transportation journals in the world, offering unparalleled depth and breadth in the coverage of transportation-related topics. The TRR publishes approximately 70 issues annually of outstanding, peer-reviewed papers presenting research findings in policy, planning, administration, economics and financing, operations, construction, design, maintenance, safety, and more, for all modes of transportation. In other words, it took over a year from submission to publication for this paper, and there will not be a proof of publication provided after acceptance, only an email notification.
If you urgently need results, I definitely do not recommend submitting to TRB. It is much better to submit to other journals after being accepted by TRB. However, TRR does not require page charges, and they have high standards for improving the paper. I believe these are the two best aspects of TRR.
