Today, the internet released a post to share my article. My paper was submitted and transferred to TRB in 2021 (July 31st). The first version manuscript, revised according to TRB's review comments, was formally submitted to TRR on December 22nd, 2021 (last week given). There were three rounds of revisions. Initially, there were two reviewers, but later it was increased to three. Each round of revision for both authors and reviewers took 40 days, which is equivalent to 240 days (7 months) in total. The final acceptance was on August 24th, 2022, and one week later it was submitted to the publishing editor at SAGE. Over a month later (October 1st), the galley proof was received, with one week for revisions. On October 2nd, the revised proof was sent back (via email), and today (October 13th, 2022) it was released on the internet.

In other words, it took over a year from submission to publication for this paper, and there will not be a proof of publication provided after acceptance, only an email notification.

If you urgently need results, I definitely do not recommend submitting to TRB. It is much better to submit to other journals after being accepted by TRB. However, TRR does not require page charges, and they have high standards for improving the paper. I believe these are the two best aspects of TRR.

The reviewers are very professional and rigorous, basically all of them are professional peers. They provided more than 40 comments in the first review, which greatly improved the quality of the manuscript. It took more than 3 months for the first review (revision). The second review took about 1 month (Accept after minor revise). It took about 40 days from receiving the final draft to the final version. The entire submission process takes approximately 8 months. Lastly, I would like to give a big praise to the journal manager of TRR, who is very conscientious and responsible. They carefully read through the entire manuscript and even help polish the language.
