Aims and Scope
The International Journal of Phytoremediation (IJP) is the first journal devoted to the publication of laboratory and field research describing the use of plant systems to solve environmental problems by enabling the remediation of soil, water, and air quality and by restoring ecosystem services in managed landscapes. Traditional phytoremediation has largely focused on soil and groundwater clean-up of hazardous contaminants. Phytotechnology expands this umbrella to include many of the natural resource management challenges we face in cities, on farms, and other landscapes more integrated with daily public activities. Wetlands that treat wastewater, rain gardens that treat stormwater, poplar tree plantings that contain pollutants, urban tree canopies that treat air pollution, and specialized plants that treat decommissioned mine sites are just a few examples of phytotechnologies.

Submitted on August 5th, received major revisions on October 5th. The third reviewer suggested one minor revision and two major revisions. Returned on November 5th, made minor revisions on December 2nd. Returned again on December 3rd, accepted on December 5th. The submission consisted of the remaining data from another top-tier article published in the second district, without any overlap between the two articles. The journal was very friendly, and I originally thought it would be rejected. Thank you. Keep up the good work, appreciate the data, conduct experiments, and strive to impact the top-tier district.

The submission was reviewed within three days, followed by a major revision two and a half months later. The opinions of the five reviewers were detailed and their requirements were quite high, resulting in around 70 to 80 suggestions. I made diligent revisions for a month and the acceptance came back quickly. The efficiency was very high. I hope it continues to improve.
