Aims and Scope

Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (CPT) is the authoritative cross-disciplinary journal in experimental and clinical medicine devoted to publishing advances in the nature, action, efficacy, and evaluation of therapeutics. CPT welcomes original Articles in the emerging areas of translational, predictive and personalized medicine; new therapeutic modalities including gene and cell therapies; pharmacogenomics, proteomics and metabolomics; bioinformation and applied systems biology complementing areas of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, human investigation and clinical trials, pharmacovigilence, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacometrics, and population pharmacology.

This magazine has rejected two of my articles. The first time was a quick rejection, which was good because it didn't delay me from submitting to other magazines. The second time they rejected my submission, they offered me an option: they could help me submit it to their CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology. However, they mentioned that this might be a lower impact factor journal and it would require a high page charge. Overall, despite being rejected twice, I have a good impression of this magazine.

Top journals in the field of clinical pharmacology, although they have a relatively low impact factor, are difficult to be accepted due to high innovation requirements. Very few articles are contributed by Chinese researchers. My first submission was rejected, so I will submit again in the future with high-quality articles.
