Personal feeling molecular catalysis is a relatively good traditional journal in the field of catalysis. We should not be overly influenced by impact factors and Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) division. This journal has a requirement for reviewers to return their reviews within three weeks, which is quite efficient.

Submission record for this time:
Nov.27, 2020 - submitted
Dec.21, 2020 - Editor's letter requesting recommendation of non-Chinese reviewers (found relevant reviewers from the references)
Jan.4, 2021 - Revisions requested, 2 reviewers, major revisions
Jan.13, 2021 - Revisions submitted
Jan.14, 2021 - Under review by the editor
Jan.26, 2021 - Accepted

Thank you to the editor and reviewers for their assistance!

I submitted an open-source journal called nanomaterials on 23.05.03 and it got rejected with a score of 6.
My supervisor said molecular catalysis is easier and suggested submitting to the journal "water".
On 23.05.07, I submitted the manuscript.
On 23.05.07, it went under review.
On 23.05.26, there were two reviewers and minor revisions were requested.
On 23.06.10, I made the revisions and it was accepted the next day.
Overall, this journal does not have high requirements.
It is at a level similar to the third tier, and is suitable for those who are rushing to graduate.
The impact factor for this year has dropped to 4. I hope it can maintain its ranking by the end of the year.
