Aims and Scope
The Journal of Physical Chemistry C (JPC C) publishes experimental, theoretical and computational research on the physical chemistry of nano, low-dimensional and bulk materials; chemical transformations at interfaces; and energy conversion and storage. Examples of topics of special interest include: heterogeneous catalysis and electrocatalysis, solar energy cells, fuel cells, novel materials for batteries and capacitors, steady-state and time-resolved spectroscopy of nano- and 2D materials, plasmonic and photonic materials, studies of chemical transformations at solid surfaces, and observations and predictions of novel material and surface properties. If you are unsure whether your manuscript fits within the scope of JPC C, please contact Deputy Editor Gregory Hartland (hartland-office@jpc.acs.org) or Executive Editor William Schneider (schneider-office@jpc.acs.org).

The paper went through the steps of rejection, major revision, minor revision, and finally acceptance.
It was initially submitted to JPCL on December 14, 2022. On December 23, the editor rejected it and suggested submitting to JPCC.
The formatting was modified to match the style of "Journal of Physical Chemistry C."
It was resubmitted on January 6, coinciding with the Lunar New Year. Due to the holiday and the COVID-19 pandemic, it took about 2 months for the reviewers to provide feedback.
On March 6, the reviewers' comments were received. The first reviewer suggested minor revisions, while the second reviewer suggested major revisions, which the editor agreed with.
The revised manuscript was submitted on March 29.
On May 2, the reviewer's comments for minor revisions came back.
On the morning of May 4, it was submitted again and accepted on the same day.

I finished the first draft on January 7th and submitted it to my boss. From January to April, I pleaded with my boss twice to make revisions, but he refused both times citing heavy teaching tasks.

At the end of April, out of kindness, I started making revisions and completed them in about 10 days.

On May 6th, I submitted the revised draft.

On June 11th, I received feedback from the reviewers. One accepted it directly, one required major revisions, and one needed some modifications. The editor suggested major revisions.

On June 21st, I submitted my response to the feedback, which consisted of 17 pages.

On July 6th, it was accepted.

I hope everyone will succeed!
