I was impressed by the serious and responsible attitude of the journal. During the proofreading process, the editor and I proofread it together for two rounds, paying attention to every character and the logical content. They corrected many of my writing habits that were not standardized. This kind of treatment is something I have never experienced in other journals. During that time, I also talked to the editor about the review mechanism of the journal. Generally, domestic scholars' articles are reviewed by foreign associate editors and reviewers, while international scholars' articles are reviewed by domestic scholars. They try their best to eliminate the phenomenon of favoritism. Currently, MPCE still has a long way to go. After all, everyone still tends to prioritize submitting their impressive work to top journals like TPWRS and TSG.

The first review took two months, with three reviewers. The first two were positive and raised some minor issues. The third reviewer raised seven or eight major issues and was very thorough, even reading the articles that I referenced. Their questions were also very professional. After two months of revisions, I submitted R1 again. Two months later, the journal returned the R1 results, with only one remaining question, asking me to explain the differences between our previous article and ours. It took me over a month to write a 14-page response and upload R2. Less than a week later, the journal returned the R2 results, asking for some formatting changes. Three weeks later, I submitted R3. After three weeks, the journal returned the R3 results and accepted the paper.
