Aims and Scope
Nanomaterials (ISSN 2076-4991) is an international and interdisciplinary scholarly open access journal. It publishes reviews, regular research papers, communications, and short notes that are relevant to any field of study that involves nanomaterials, with respect to their science and application. Thus, theoretical and experimental articles will be accepted, along with articles that deal with the synthesis and use of nanomaterials. Articles that synthesize information from multiple fields, and which place discoveries within a broader context, will be preferred. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research in as much detail as possible. Full experimental or methodical details, or both, must be provided for research articles. Computed data or files regarding the full details of the experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material. Nanomaterials is dedicated to a high scientific standard. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous reviewing process and decisions are based on the recommendations of independent reviewers.

Verified Reviews
Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
August 16th, submit.
September 1st, received two comments, given five days to make revisions.
September 3rd, received the third comment as well, made revisions altogether without extending the time.
September 6th, resubmit.
September 7th, saw in the system that all three reviewers agreed to accept, no other comments.
September 9th, accepted. But didn't notice the payment message.
September 16th, reminded to pay, made the payment on the same day.
September 17th, published.
From submission to acceptance, it only took 24 days, very fast.

Added some additional experiments, but couldn't achieve much in just five days.
The responses to the reviewers' comments were longer than the main text, and many issues were resolved through explanations. (The language was very sincere, but in summary, it was like "I don't think this experiment needs to be added/it can't be added"). They charged me 16,000 RMB. The CHF exchange rate seems to have increased recently...
For the sake of promotion and staying at the university, there's nothing I can do... It's fast, and the article is quickly indexed in WOS, what more can I ask for~

A few years ago, I began serving as an editorial board member for this journal. I have submitted articles to this journal on behalf of my friends three times, two of which were for a Special Issue. The editorial process was very fast, with acceptance and publication taking less than 3 weeks. Although the Article Processing Charge (APC) of 2400 CHF is a bit expensive, it is significantly more cost-effective compared to other open-access journals such as the Journal of Nanomaterials (Impact factor: 2.986, APC: 2300 USD).

Currently, the journal has several Special Issues, including one that I am co-hosting with a colleague. If you have suitable manuscripts, please submit them as soon as possible. The deadline for submission to this Special Issue is March 31.

Special Issue Title: Frontiers in Novel Nanostructured Materials for Electrocatalysis–Trends and Future

You can find more information about this Special Issue at: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/nanomaterials/special_issues/nanostructured_electrocatalysis
