NANO-MICRO LETT

ISSN / eISSN
2311-6706 / 2150-5551
Aims and Scope
Nano-Micro Letters is a peer-reviewed, international, interdisciplinary and open-access journal published under the SpringerOpen brand that focus on science, experiments, engineering, technologies and applications of nano- or microscale structure and system in physics, chemistry, biology, material science, pharmacy and their expanding interfaces with at least one dimension ranging from a few sub-nanometers to a few hundreds of micrometers. Especially, emphasize the bottom-up approach in the length scale from nano to micro since the key for nanotechnology to reach industrial applications is to assemble, to modify, and to control nanostructure in micro scale. The aim is to provide a publishing platform crossing the boundaries, from nano to micro, and from science to technologies.

The quality of the magazine has improved now, and the difficulty has also increased. Last year, I submitted an article and felt that the review process was the most rigorous (last year, we submitted 4 articles and only one was accepted, but the other two were published in higher-level journals such as ACS and RSC). The reviewers' comments were not particularly professional, and it was easy to pass. It seems that as long as the editor is willing to review, there shouldn't be any problems.

Unfortunately, domestic journals are rarely noticed by foreign scholars, and the citations in the magazine are also rarely from overseas researchers' research groups. I hope the magazine will continue to improve.

In the early years, the impact factor of the magazine did not increase, so we privately sought citations from others, and there was a reward for each citation. Now that the impact factor of the magazine has increased, I hope this phenomenon will not occur again, as it has a negative impact.

AM sent for review, encountered a peer in a small field, rejected. In the spirit of supporting domestic journals, I submitted to nano micro letters, waited for the editor's handling for 7 days, and then the editor directly rejected it, stating that they had too many submissions and could only select high-quality manuscripts that they believed would have a wide readership. Well, I guess I don't deserve it, even though I have been accepted in 3 AEM papers. This is the most innovative paper I think, otherwise, I wouldn't dare to submit to AM. Now it seems like they look down on domestic papers. With such a low submission rate, you promote yourself everywhere on social media asking everyone to pay attention, but when a small research group submits to you, you look down on it, and you publish whatever rubbish the big groups submit. It's truly ridiculous.
