Aims and Scope
The Journal of Materials Science publishes reviews, full-length papers, and short Communications recording original research results on, or techniques for studying the relationship between structure, properties, and uses of materials. The subjects are seen from international and interdisciplinary perspectives covering areas including metals, ceramics, glasses, polymers, electrical materials, composite materials, fibers, nanostructured materials, nanocomposites, and biological and biomedical materials. The Journal of Materials Science is now firmly established as the leading source of primary communication for scientists investigating the structure and properties of all engineering materials.

On November 17, 2020, I submitted the manuscript. There were a few changes in the information during the process, and I only had time to review it approximately once a week due to being busy with other matters.
On January 5, 2021, I received a major revision request from only one reviewer, focusing on minor details. They suggested accepting the manuscript after minor revisions. Editor Mark Bissett requested significant revisions within 40 days. However, based on the reviewer's comments, there were not many areas that needed to be revised. I was supposed to complete the revisions within one to two weeks as I was preparing for a doctoral application, but it ended up taking a month.
On February 5, 2021, I submitted the revised manuscript.
On February 12, 2021, it was accepted.
