Aims and Scope
International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems publishes original research results on key advances in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy systems. Of particular interest are submissions concerning the modeling, analysis, optimization and control of advanced electric power systems.
Manuscripts on topics of economics, finance, policies, insulation materials, low-voltage power electronics, plasmas, and magnetics will generally not be considered for review.

The first review of this journal was fast, taking about a month. However, the review process for major and minor revisions took longer as both times the reviewers waited until the last day to provide their feedback, which caused some delay. Under the leadership of Professor Kang from Tsinghua University, the impact factor of the journal has almost increased by half this year, from 1.69 to 2.86. This can be considered a gain, and hopefully, the journal's ranking will improve this year.
