Verified Reviews

It took 15 months.
After the first submission, it was rejected and there were over 40 questions raised by three reviewers.
The paper was then modified and additional experiments were conducted according to the reviewers' comments.
After 8 months, it was resubmitted.
The first review took one month, and there were over 20 more comments from the three reviewers.
The paper was modified for over a month and then submitted again.
The second review took one month, with two reviewers asking over 10 more questions.
Another month was spent on further modifications before resubmission.
In the third review, one reviewer raised a few more questions, and the editor also provided some.
After another half month of revisions, it was submitted again.
Finally, it was accepted, but when looking up at the moon, more than a year had already passed.
During the process, the paper was also submitted to a European journal on polymers but was rejected. It was then resubmitted to the current journal, which had risen from a second-tier to a first-tier journal.
It can be seen as an interpretation of how perseverance pays off.

xavier.allonas This editor is so unreliable. It has been delayed for over four months, and in the end, they just rejected it. Despite multiple requests for revisions, the editor refused, citing inconvenience in contacting the reviewers due to the pandemic. This has made it difficult to graduate now. Their attitude is arrogant, the speed is slow, and it really hampers progress. If they couldn't do it, they should have rejected it earlier.
