Submitted in May of the 22nd year, accepted in January of the 23rd year. The assigned associate editor took three months without submitting for review. After one reminder, the manuscript was immediately sent for review and received two opinions. Although there were many opinions, the revisions were well done. After revising, another reminder was sent and it was accepted in January. One of the reviewers felt that the explanation was not clear, but still agreed to accept it. The journal's review comments are very professional, just a bit slow, requiring repeated reminders.

One of the two well-established authoritative journals in the field of mechanical engineering and intelligent materials (the other is Smart Materials and Structures), it is highly recognized in the modeling and analysis of areas such as magneto-rheological and piezoelectric ceramics.
The articles have high requirements for theoretical depth, average requirements for innovation, and low publication volume.
The speed is very slow (it has been 5 months for the first review, and it has been 9 months now and it is not yet finished).
