People are not familiar with this journal, so here is a brief review for everyone, only for reference when submitting articles in the future (strongly discouraged). First, let's talk about why the impact factor of this journal is so high this year. You can look at the self-citation situation of this journal. After acceptance, the editors will ask you to heavily cite papers from this journal, just like what Applied Energy does. Therefore, the impact factor is very high this year, but the quality of papers is only at the level of EI and the fourth quartile. Now, let's talk about the editors of this journal. Some domestic journals are very irregular. The chief editor and associate editor listed on the official website are just for show and have no real power. The decision-making authority for papers is in the hands of editors who do not understand academia. If they are in a good mood, they will accept your paper; if not, they will reject it easily. In reality, this journal is actually managed by a few editors who do not understand anything, but are in charge of the journal. They can even reject articles that are approved by reviewers. I have personally experienced this, and it is very true.

The feeling is good, quite formal, at least 5 reviewers, and the self-citation is not high either. Is 4.8% considered high? Now there is encouragement for domestic journals, and I believe they will get better and better in the future.
