Verified Reviews
Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
The journal has always been open source, but starting from January 2021, it will be published on the Wiley platform, and page charges will be collected. Currently, Chinese authors receive a discount, with a fee of $1400 per article after acceptance.

The single-round peer review process usually takes 4 to 5 weeks. Generally, accepted manuscripts require 2 to 3 rounds, and if the revisions are minor, the process will be faster.

The journal typically invites experts from an international scope as reviewers, with high requirements for review quality.

If there are specific time requirements for submission, it is recommended to communicate with the editors in advance. The editorial team is mainly composed of Chinese editors, making communication convenient.

I submitted my paper in July last year, when it was not yet open source. In September, I received the first round of review results, which required significant revisions. There were a total of six reviewers who raised around forty to fifty questions. It took me two months to make the revisions and I resubmitted the paper in November. However, two days later, it was rejected and I was informed that the journal had become open source and I needed to submit it at a new submission website. After resubmitting, I received the second round of review results on December 16th, which only required minor revisions. Two days later, I made the revisions and submitted the final version. On December 30th, my paper was accepted.
