Aims and Scope

The IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems is committed to the timely publication of high-impact papers at the intersection of control systems and network science. In particular, the journal addresses research on the analysis, design and implementation of networked control systems, as well as control over networks. Relevant work includes the full spectrum from basic research on control systems to the design of engineering solutions for automatic control of, and over, networks. The topics covered by this journal include: Coordinated control and estimation over networks, Control and computation over sensor networks, Control under communication constraints, Control and performance analysis issues that arise in the dynamics of networks used in application areas such as communications, computers, transportation, manufacturing, Web ranking and aggregation, social networks, biology, power systems, economics, Synchronization of activities across a controlled network, Stability analysis of controlled networks, Analysis of networks as hybrid dynamical systems.

It feels very unprofessional that the journal Trans did not use the Scholar system. After submitting, no one processed it for 2 months, then it was under review for 7 days. Then it was in decision pending for a long 1 and a half months. When I urged them, they replied that the submission direction was not suitable for the journal and suggested that I submit to IEEE PES. Not to mention that the submission direction clearly includes power systems, it's just unbelievable that the editorial department held it for 3 months claiming it's not suitable. Electrical engineering journals usually have the first review result within three months. I dare not touch journals like this in the future, it's scary.

Here's my submission experience. The review speed of this journal is quite fast.

Submitted on April 25, 2022.
Rejected on June 30, 2022, but can be resubmitted as a paper.
Resubmitted on August 9, 2022.
Conditionally accepted as a paper on October 18, 2022.

There were three reviewers, and their comments were generally okay. When resubmitting, I addressed the key concerns they had and made the necessary improvements. The feedback I received was satisfactory. One of the reviewers suggested unifying the font size in the illustrations, so the associate editor granted conditional acceptance. There shouldn't be any major issues now.
