Aims and Scope

GeroScience is a bi-monthly, international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles related to research in the biology of aging and research on biomedical applications that impact aging. The scope of articles to be considered include evolutionary biology, biophysics, genetics, genomics, proteomics, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, endocrinology, immunology, physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and psychology.

There are fewer journals in the field of gerontology. Geroscience is the renamed version of Age, which is considered an established journal in this field. Overall, it is at the forefront of geriatric medicine. After the first submission, a response was received within two weeks, suggesting minor revisions. After three weeks of revision, the reviewers apologized for their oversight and requested further minor revisions. After making the necessary modifications, the revised manuscript was accepted three days after resubmission.
