Verified Reviews
Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
First review took over 9 months, with two reviewers. One gave minor revisions and the other rejected it outright. The comments from the rejecting reviewer were rubbish and completely unconvincing. They questioned some commonly used models, but if they didn't understand, they could have asked for clarification. These reviewers are truly frustrating. Maybe it's because the editor has been constantly pushing them, and they are getting impatient. Let's submit it to another journal! (PS: It's possible that the editor has been constantly reminding the reviewers, and they are getting a bit impatient.)

Three reviewers, minor+major+reject. The feedback from the reject reviewer was still helpful. Although the Associate Editor suggested a revise & resubmit, the Editor-in-Chief still made a decision to reject, which was quite frustrating. I sent an email to the Editor-in-Chief requesting permission to resubmit, but did not receive a response, so I decided to submit to another journal.
