Aims and Scope
Computer and Communications networks are key infrastructures of the information society with high socio-economic value as they contribute to the correct operations of many critical services (from healthcare to finance and transportation). Internet is the core of today's computer-communication infrastructures. This has transformed the Internet, from a robust network for data transfer between computers, to a global, content-rich, communication and information system where contents are increasingly generated by the users, and distributed according to human social relations. Next-generation network technologies, architectures and protocols are therefore required to overcome the limitations of the legacy Internet and add new capabilities and services. The future Internet should be ubiquitous, secure, resilient, and closer to human communication paradigms.

Computer Communications is a peer-reviewed international journal that publishes high-quality scientific articles (both theory and practice) and survey papers covering all aspects of future computer communication networks (on all layers, except the physical layer), with a special attention to the evolution of the Internet architecture, protocols, services, and applications.

Verified Reviews
Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
I have previously submitted an article, and the entire review process took about 5 months. The timeline for the second submission is as follows: submitted on February 21, 2023, sent for review one week later, three reviewers were invited. However, one of the reviewers declined, so the editor sent it to another reviewer for review. The decision was in process on April 25, 2023. Minor revisions were requested on April 28, 2023. I made the revisions on May 6, 2023. Currently, the article is under review, and the timeline will be updated once it is accepted. Overall, I feel that the journal's quality is good. It is a well-established journal with high recognition in the field. Personally, I believe that its impact factor in 2022 may exceed 6, so it is worth submitting to.

The second review took about one and a half months to complete, and the minor revisions were given. It was returned that same year and received in the evening. The whole process took approximately 7 months, which is slower compared to the previous computer networks review. However, overall, the feeling is that this journal is still acceptable.
