Received review comments on January 30, 2022 from three reviewers. One major revision and two minor revisions were requested. The editor requested submission before February 20, 2022.
I submitted the revised version on February 19, 2022 and received an email on the 24th stating that it was temporarily accepted but needed further modifications. The editor provided seven modification suggestions.
Submitted the second revision on the 25th.
Accepted on the 27th and signed the agreement that evening. It will not be open access.
Proofreading on March 9th. They sent me a reprint order form, but I ignored it because it may require payment.
Published online on March 14th.
Everything went smoothly. Thank you to the journal. I will continue to follow it. It was a good submission experience. The impact factor is 2.307 and still rising. It is expected to eventually rise to the second quartile. This journal is not bad in the field.

2022.12.30 Submission
2023.2.5 Revised submission, with one positive and one negative review. The editor decided to reject the submission but suggested resubmitting.
2023.3.22 Resubmitted after making modifications according to the reviewers' comments.
2023.6.13 Pre-accepted.
2023.6.16 Accepted.
In summary, the first review only took one month, while the second review was very slow, possibly due to different reviewers. The editor was very good, and I sent multiple reminders during the second review without my submission being rejected as a result. PS: This journal is affiliated with the German Chemical Society and is on an upward trend. In the years 2018-2019, it was easy to get published, but now it requires more effort and quality to impress the reviewers. It may not be categorized as a fourth-tier journal in a few more years.
