Summary: The objective of this study was to evaluate the anti-oxidation and anti-diabetic properties of green and yellow papaya. The results showed that extracts from yellow papaya had higher polyphenolic content and anti-oxidation activity compared to green papaya. Additionally, the pulp extract from yellow papaya had stimulatory effects on glucose uptake, Glut-2 expression, and triglyceride reduction in liver cells. These findings suggest that different parts of papaya can be beneficial for preventing diabetes and promoting wound healing.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of Fufangmuniziqi formula (FFMN) on Alzheimer's disease (AD) and the role of alkaloids, flavonoids, and saponins in the process. The results showed that FFMN improved cognitive and memory impairment in the AD mouse model. Alkaloids enhanced the cholinergic system, while flavonoids and saponins attenuated neuroinflammation and oxidative stress. These findings suggest that the combination of alkaloid, flavonoid, and saponin fractions derived from FFMN is a promising anti-AD agent.
