Aims and Scope

Annals of Physics presents original work in all areas of basic theoretic physics research. Ideas are developed and fully explored, and thorough treatment is given to first principles and ultimate applications. Annals of Physics emphasizes clarity and intelligibility in the articles it publishes, thus making them as accessible as possible. Readers familiar with recent developments in the field are provided with sufficient detail and background to follow the arguments and understand their significance.

The Editors of the journal cover all fields of theoretical physics. Articles published in the journal are typically longer than 20 pages.

This magazine is of good quality. It is indeed not very reasonable to categorize it in Zone 3. It has published many high-level research achievements in the field of physics. It should at least be classified as a Zone 2 journal, right? With my doctoral thesis consisting of one PR article and two AOP articles, it should be enough for them to graduate.

Speed is acceptable. Submitted on August 3rd, received revision comments on September 2nd, submitted revised draft on September 11th, accepted on September 21st, and published online on September 28th. The entire process from submission to publication took less than two months.
