PHYSICA A-STATISTICAL MECHANICS AND ITS APPLICATIONS

It took five months for feedback to be received. There were two reviewers, one of whom provided many suggestions for revision, while the other reviewer mentioned issues with my attitude and rejected the paper. The editor requested major revisions, which took two months to complete. After more than a month, the paper was resubmitted for review. In the second round, there was only one reviewer, as the other reviewer who had rejected the paper did not participate further. Although some of the revisions did not meet the reviewer's requirements, another round of major revisions was requested. After a month of further modifications, the paper was submitted for review again. Altogether, the entire process took around 11 months. Overall, the journal seemed relatively easy to get published in, but the review process was excessively long.

The review speed was quite fast, and I received the first round of review comments in nearly two months. The editor gave me 20 days to make revisions, but I couldn't tell if it required major or minor revisions, so I kept making changes until the last day. When I sent it back for reevaluation, it took about two weeks, and then I received the acceptance notification. I was very lucky ^-^
One of the reviewers' comments was difficult to address, but I did everything I could in the revised report and honestly explained the reasons for things I couldn't do. The outcome was still quite smooth.
