Aims and Scope
This Journal is devoted to the advancement of the science and technology of astronautics and aeronautics through the dissemination of original archival research papers disclosing new theoretical developments and/or experimental results. The topics include aeroacoustics, aerodynamics, combustion, fundamentals of propulsion, fluid mechanics and reacting flows, fundamental aspects of the aerospace environment, hydrodynamics, lasers and associated phenomena, plasmas, research instrumentation and facilities, structural mechanics and materials, optimization, and thermomechanics and thermochemistry. Papers also are sought which review in an intensive manner the results of recent research developments on any of the topics listed above.

2021-11-22 Editorial comments returned, major revisions required. There were a total of four reviewers who asked numerous questions. Two reviewers recommended acceptance, one reviewer strongly rejected, and one reviewer stated that there were several issues preventing them from recommending acceptance.

Overall, the journal is very good. I'm not sure why it is classified as a third or fourth-tier journal by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The reviewers asked very professional questions, and although the process of responding was painful, it allowed my work to progress further.

Last year, I published an article which I personally believe is one of the top journals in the field of aerospace, second only to "Progress in Aerospace Science". However, the impact factor is not strong enough. This year, it fell to Q2 and was surpassed by AST and CJA. It was even surpassed by MDPI's "Aerospace". However, internationally, AIAA Journal is still more recognized. Recently, I submitted another article and hope it gets accepted.
