March 24, 2021: Submission
May 3, 2021: First review received, both reviewers requested major revisions. They pointed out the same main issue: the background gas pressure in the simulation settings was much higher than the pressure in the orbital environment. In reality, I based the settings on ground test results, but due to equipment limitations and high roughness of the vacuum, the pressure was set too high.
May 23, 2021: However, I re-adjusted the background pressure, and the data results showed significant improvement. Revised the manuscript.
June 23, 2021: Second review received, one reviewer accepted the revisions, and the other suggested minor revisions. They were impressed with the improvements made, but had some questions about the revised data results.
June 23, 2021: Revised the manuscript on the same day, directly attaching the calculation code and explaining the underlying reasons for the data changes. I mentioned that they could replicate my calculation process to verify.
June 28, 2021: Accepted, the reviewers expressed gratitude for providing the code and also provided suggestions for optimizing the code.
Overall, it was a standard submission process that took three months from start to finish. The reviewers demonstrated strong expertise and genuinely addressed some fundamental issues in the article.
