When I submitted, I looked at LetPub and consulted with the teachers around me. They all said it would take a long time, so I was mentally prepared for a year of review. But the result came quickly.

After the minor revisions were completed, it was probably around July 10, 2023, that it was awaiting recommendation, and around July 15, it changed to Awaiting Decision. The decisions for major and minor revisions were almost always returned by reviewers on Thursday or Friday, and the Associate Editor made the decision on the following Monday. This final decision took more time for some reason. Lastly, I would like to thank my advisor, the editor, and the reviewers. The reviewers were very efficient, taking a little over a month for the first review and about a week for the second and third reviews. They were very timely.

I submitted it on October 2nd, 21, and it has been in the peer review process ever since. There has been no change until March, 22. Due to my lack of experience in submitting manuscripts, I thought it was still under review. Someone suggested that I follow up, but I was worried that it might not be appropriate to do so, as everyone follows the rules. Suddenly, it was already May 26th, and due to nearing graduation, I needed the article. So, I sent an email asking about the status of my submission, as it had been almost 8 months. The response I received was that the previous editor was unavailable and they needed to find a new editor for review, and they would do it as soon as possible. I was stunned! After hesitating for 2 days, I decided to withdraw the manuscript. Graduation is approaching, and I have mixed feelings.
