The first submission was made to a conference, with four reviewers including one associate editor. Three reviewers gave positive evaluations, while one was stricter. Fortunately, the associate editor thought it was acceptable and suggested submitting it directly to TVCG (Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics). After submitting to TVCG, three new reviewers were assigned. Two gave positive evaluations, but one was exceptionally strict, resulting in a major revision being requested. After making the revisions, minor changes were requested in the feedback. Once those were made, it was stated that it was nearly ready for acceptance, but English writing needed further improvement. After revising the writing, there was a two-month wait before finally receiving acceptance. The conclusion is that the reviewers' comments were strict and the process was somewhat slow.

Here's an update. The paper was ultimately rejected. There were two reviewers in total. One gave a major revision and had a high evaluation of the work in the paper. The other gave a rejection, completely misunderstanding the direction of the paper and criticizing the work based on some well-known researchers, stating that although their work was of high level and relatively new, it was far worse than the one published by XXX 10 years ago (suspected to be the reviewer, as this person's work was mentioned multiple times in the comments). Finally, the Associate Editor (AE) gave a rejection. Currently, the paper has been revised and we plan to resubmit it to TVCG, hoping for better luck and not encountering such an odd reviewer this time.
