Verified Reviews
Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
Overall, the review efficiency is high, and the editor is very good.
Submitted in January, received the first round of review comments in early February. There were three reviewers: 1# thought it was good and provided a small suggestion; 2# raised two questions and stated that if they were not explained well, it would not meet the acceptance criteria; 3# reviewer's comments had no substantial content and finally requested the addition of 6 references.
Took 10 days to revise. The second round of review ended in late March with two reviewers. 1# thanked the author for adopting the suggestions; 2# raised 8 new questions, and the general opinion was that the paper lacked innovation as there were already many related studies. However, the requested modifications had no relation to the content of the article, and I didn't know how to respond.
Spent 12 days brainstorming and replying. In early May, the review comments came back, and due to reviewer 2#'s opinion that the revision response was not serious and meticulous, the paper was rejected. Feeling sad and angry... But the editor believed the work was valuable and suggested resubmission.
Adjusted my mindset and resubmitted in mid-May after making changes. The modifications mainly involved reverting the previous revisions targeted at reviewer 2#...
Received the review comments in early August, with two reviewers. 1# reviewer thought the article was well-organized, had novel methods, and had practical value. They provided suggestions for modifying the titles of figures and tables, as well as one content modification suggestion; 2# reviewer raised a few minor questions, which were easy to address.
Took 4 days to revise and submitted the revised manuscript. Two days later, it was accepted - Regular Paper: Accept Based on Reviews.
It took some time, but the result was good. I am very grateful to editor Virostek, Kristy.

Posted in early November 2020, and underwent major revisions by the end of December of the same year.
Followed by minor revisions in March 2021.
Accepted in April.
It was previously said that TIE was slow, but this time the speed exceeded my expectations. However, the page charge of $350 per page is a bit expensive. Nevertheless, I am willing to pay extra for additional pages.
The comments and critiques from the reviewers were highly professional. Although the criticism was harsh, I accepted them. Although I wrote this paper, I was not very knowledgeable about the relevant aspects and the technicalities associated with the article. However, after making the necessary revisions based on the reviewers' comments, I felt that this part of knowledge was clarified unexpectedly. This can be considered an unexpected gain.
I hope to make progress in scientific research in the future and publish in top journals. I also wish all fellow researchers that their efforts will be rewarded as they deserve. Finally, I wish TIE continued success.
