EMBO Publishing House, the second-in-command, was established in 2000. Cell reports, under the umbrella of CELL, should be imitating the publishing concept of this magazine, with an extremely similar style. However, EMBO reports are more rigorous. Everyone can try submitting their articles, and if you get accepted after external review, you will have a profound experience. It mainly accepts articles related to molecular biology. The magazine is very good, but there are very few Chinese submissions. It is mainly favored by some researchers from Chinese institutes.

I don't know if the leaders of the country are aware of how excessively the Chinese Academy of Sciences uses the baton in its division. Supporting domestic journals is a good thing, but it shouldn't be done at the expense of pulling up seedlings to help them grow. It disregards the life and death of personnel without qualifications. This is also the way it is for the scientific research big shots. They randomly publish and it becomes a first-tier journal. Thumbs up!
