Journals are still highly regarded within the low-temperature community. During the ICEC conference, the experts promoted the idea of "keeping records of what you have done best." This is because there are very few people working in the field of low temperature, thus making it difficult to maintain a high impact factor. It is not an environment that is well-suited for pursuing impact factors. I waited for over four months to have my paper reviewed, and one reviewer took twenty days to accept the revision, almost causing a delay in my graduation.

The first review took only over 40 days and only required minor revisions. The second review took nearly 3 months, probably delayed by the reviewers. The editor is French and seems to be quite efficient! For reference, the timeline is as follows:

2020.12. With editor
2020.01. Under review
2021.03.14 Revise
