Aims and Scope

Chemistry & Biodiversity serves as a high-quality publishing forum covering a wide range of biorelevant topics for a truly international audience. This journal publishes both field-specific and interdisciplinary contributions on all aspects of biologically relevant chemistry research in the form of full-length original papers, short communications, invited reviews, and commentaries. It covers all research fields straddling the border between the chemical and biological sciences, with the ultimate goal of broadening our understanding of how nature works at a molecular level.
Since 2017, Chemistry & Biodiversity is published in an online-only format.

The review speed is very fast. The manuscript was submitted on February 9th, and the first review comments were given on February 28th. Due to working on another research paper funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, it was delayed until the 12th before being revised. The revised version was directly accepted on the following day, which is February 13th. If I had been faster, it would have been completed within one month.

It took me over four months to complete. I spent nearly two months in the editing department at the beginning, and the reviewing and handling by the chief editor were done quickly afterwards. Most decisions were made within 2-3 days.
